"Nominate Your Hero" to Win a Free Car!

NAPA Auto Care Centers of Arizona are banding together to honor Arizona's local heroes this summer by giving away
a refurbished and updated 2002 Chevy Impala.

Many of the shops in the network took part in fixing up the donated Chevy, getting it into prime shape for the giveaway. The first annual "Nominate Your Hero" on-line essay contest runs through June 28, 2010.

"Arizona is filled with local Heroes - men and women, friends and neighbors who have rendered service in our communities and for our nation," said Michael Conroy District Manager, NAPA Phoenix, "We want to give people the opportunity to say thank-you to those who have served to make Arizona the great place that it is. What a better way to do that than to give them this amazing car!"

Between now and June 28th, NAPA customers are encouraged to visit www.AutoRepairArizona.com and submit an essay explaining why their nominee deserves this car. Essays should be no more than 500 words in length.

Persons can nominate any Arizona resident that they personally know, who has made a difference in their life, or who has gone above and beyond to help others. We welcome nominations of military families, community volunteers, educators, friends or family members, etc.

The essay winner will be chosen on June 29, 2010 and the winning nominee will receive his/her car in an award ceremony before Sunday July 4, 2010.
